This product is called Cao Maru, and now a new vegetable series has been released that features a tomato, bell pepper, and eggplant. “Do you ordinarily feel stress? Do you smile? Are you angry?” Designed by Makiko Yoshida on the concept of appealing to people who feel this way, this product is made to relieve stress by squeezing it.
While it is designed to relieve stress, the product can be used in any way you please. It’s perfectly fine if it makes you feel better just by looking at it, so use it any way you like.
The product has a unique feel to the touch that makes you want to continue holding it. Polyurethane rubber is used to give it that unique and enjoyable feel. It has a sticky quality when it is first made but becomes smooth after dusting with corn starch and baby powder. If it becomes soiled from use, simply rinse it with water and reapply some corn starch.
Each item is 2,500 yen, and I would like to make it available for sale at interior decorating stores and at Tokyu Hands.
Sales have also already been started overseas.
