Naxis was originally a weaving company, making material for obi kimono belts in the Nishijin district of Kyoto. We now make narrow-width woven goods.
The products we are offering today take advantage of the special characteristics of narrow-width weaving — decorative woven stickers featuring Japanese patterns.
Our products feature a high thread count, with very fine threads, which allows us to create beautiful, finely detailed patterns. We have taken advantage of these characteristics to create these products.
Originally, we planned to create a product that could be used as edging for tatami floor mats, but we have also developed woven fabric stickers that can be ironed on — applied using a clothing iron — and used to decorate all kinds of interior goods and fabric items.
